Are you a blogger that cares about the climate? Show your solidarity to the international blogging community and post about climate change today. Held on October 15th every year, Blog Action Day, organized by Change.org, is an international event that aims to bring the world’s bloggers together to post on an event of global importance and instigate dialogue around the world. This year’s theme is climate change, and 8,921 blogs from 148 countries have registered to participate in the event.

All you have to do is register your blog and write one post about climate change. Change.org will have a live stream of posts on the Blog Action Day homepage, so include “Blog Action Day” in your title. If you are tweeting, you can use the hashtag #BAD09.

If you want to be part of the blogosphere buzz but aren’t sure what to write about, don’t fret- the folks at change.org have a list of ideas to guide and inspire you. What else can you do? The activities for the day also include a number of ways you can take action in the fight to stop climate change.
