Introducing… b-listed
Hi,
Breakthrough is proud, excited, nervous, and did we say excited to bring you “b-listed.” After a lot of thinking, talking and asking the million $ nonprofit web 2.0 question,”should we have a blog, or shouldn’t we?” And after a lot of “why not, we create web 2.0 tools, we’re smart, we’re savvy, we can do this, we’d be good at it” discussions, we clearly decided to go ahead, get over the stage fright, sit down and begin.
Breakthrough’s ultimate goal as an organization is to make pop culture tools to educate people about human rights. With that in mind, “b-listed” is reclaiming the term “b-list.” We are profiling the people and organizations that are out there, being creative, behind the scenes building human rights culture that aren’t getting the recognition they deserve. That’s where we come in.
Welcome to b-listed. Leave comments. Give suggestions. Discuss. And come back.
